Thanks to everyone who participated.

Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback on this year's event.  We are moving the event online as many expressed concern with traveling to/from Chicago. Join Us Online http://summit.joomladaychicago.com

While the Beginner's Workshop and the Sessions are online, the Joomla Certification Exam, can only be administered in-person.  Like all organizations, companies, and events, our first thought is for the health and safety of all who are apart of JoomlaDay Chicago.  As such we are actively monitoring the Cook County Department of Health, and the Illinois Department of Public Health, as well as keeping up with the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control. While we strongly encourage you to follow the recommended measures:

  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available.

(For additional information regarding the posters from the CDC shown on the right side of this page, please click here to view the CDC's information page.)

We will also be following the guidelines for business as we administrator the Joomla Certification Exam.  To allow for proper Social Distancing, the number of test-takers will be limited to 4.  Face masks will be required.  We ask anyone who has been ill or around others who are or have been ill to STAY HOME.
